In October, Her Majesty The Queen is expected to visit Australia to attend the 2011 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Perth. The Queen is expected to be accompanied by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Edinburgh, on her sixtieth visit to the country. The Queen’s last appointment to Australia was in 2006, when she opened the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

Coin Set Features
The design features sixteen St Edward’s Crowns, each representing each time The Queen has visited Australia. The St Edward’s Crown, being the official coronation crown, was placed on The Queen to mark the completion of her coronation ceremony in 1953.
