To commemorate the introduction of Samoa’s new circulating designs, the Central Bank of Samoa is proud to premiere these new coins in a silver coin set featuring five stunning coins struck in 99.9% fine silver.
These coins, struck for the first time in 2011, represent the history and culture of Samoa and feature Samoa’s most treasured icons – the Fautasi Race, Manumea Bird, Teuila Flower, Kava Bowl and their Official National Emblem. The obverses of these 2011 dated coins depict the effigy of His Royal Highness Tui Atua Tamasese Efi.
This rare collection of silver proof coins has been struck by the Royal Australian Mint to a proof finish and has a limited mintage of 2500.
Each of these stunning sets is mounted in a classically styled presentation case and includes a numbered certificate of authenticity.
