The Royal Australian Mint has produced 4 specially made coins for the 2011 Australasian Numismatic Dealers Association Show. This exclusive series, Capital Bridges, will depict an iconic bridge from each hosting state.

This stunning coin features the Brisbane Story Bridge. Opened in July 1940, this steel cantilever bridge is 777 metres long and was named after John Douglas Story - a public servant. Currently the bridge has 6 lanes of traffic and links Fortitude valley with Kangaroo Point.
