Following on from the success of the Land Series, the Royal Australian Mint is proud to announce the release of the first two coins in the Air Series. The first two coins of a six part series, the Crimson Rosella and the Kookaburra are released in March 2011. These coins show the spectacular integration of traditional coin sculpture and pad printing. Consistent with past releases, the product presentation includes relevant and educational information on each of the air dwelling animals depicted. The blister packed product card is an attractive point of sale item in many coin stores, while maintaining appeal to established coin purchasers.
