Theme Background:

The fourth 99.9% pure silver 1oz proof release from The Perth Mint’s popular Celebrate Australia program, its reverse portrays coloured and struck elements portraying iconic symbols of the Australian Capital Territory.

The coin’s reverse depicts a coloured illustration of Australia’s Parliament House, situated on Canberra’s Capital Hill. The design includes a Royal Bluebell, the Territory’s floral emblem,
and a Gang-gang Cockatoo, its faunal emblem. The reverse also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2010 year-date.
